Of the more than $100 billion invested by venture capitalists each year, all-male teams get about 83%, while all-female teams get only 2 to 3%.

This is despite the fact that women-led companies that do get funding tend to be more capital-efficient and have higher revenue than comparable companies led by men.

According to First Round Capital, gender-diverse leadership teams show valuation growth 63% higher than all-male teams.
