IMF forecasts global growth of 3.9% this year, strongest since 2011.
IMF 2018 growth projections are 2.4% for the euro area, 1.2% for Japan, 6.6% for China, and 2.9% for the United States.
Global growth will be supported by strong momentum, favorable market sentiment, accommodative financial conditions, and the domestic and international repercussions of expansionary fiscal policy in the United States.
